Vacation Bible School

We had a great week of Vacation Bible School last week! 

Our theme was "A Whaling Adventure -- Jonah and the Whale"

We had a great turnout, and everyone had a blast! :) 

I'm not sure the total of kids that were saved, 

but I know of three for sure! 

Praise the Lord for the work HE did last week!

My VBS task is to make the Week -n- Review DVD. 

I love the job because I'm able to be around 

every age group and see every aspect of VBS! 

It is so much fun! :) 

I also had the opportunity to be in the skit this year as a "shegull." 

There were "shegulls" and "hegulls." :) 

We all had a blast!

Creation Museum!

A few weeks ago, I had the opportunity to go to the

 Creation Museum with Michelle, Jessica, and D'Lacey! 

It was very exciting for me because I've never been more than a state

away from Wisconsin so I was glad to be able to finally travel 

far enough to be in Ohio and Kentucky. :) 

The Creation Museum was AWESOME! 

We all had a blast! :) 

I happened to get pretty sick with a horrible head cold and sore

throat the day before we left. 

When I woke up the morning we were to leave,

 I could hardly talk! 

So, I was pretty miserable for most of the

 trip and didn't have a voice either. 

I tried to get as much sleep on the bus as possible! 

(I still had a blast though!) 

We stopped at the Creation Museum for about an hour on Friday 

night before going out for dinner.

We spent from 9am to 3pm on Saturday at the museum.

The Creation Museum is SO amazing! 

If you haven't been there, make it a point to go sometime! :)

Josiah's 15th birthday was on June 16th and Daniel's 7th birthday was on June 22. 

We celebrated birthdays at Pizza Ranch one evening. :) 

I was glad that Britney could join us! :)

We're thankful for the opportunity Josiah has to work on Operational Staff 

at Camp Joy this summer! I've missed him around the house, but I'm excited

for him! He's learning a lot of new skills that he'll be able to use his whole life. :)

yes, we still exist...

Well, after my last post, you have all probably assumed that I didn't survive the last semester of college. However, here I am. Nathan and I both survived our first semester of college and we love it! :) We are on Christmas break now and loving break as well. It's very nice not to have to worry about a big paper or a final exam. I do miss all my college friends though and can't wait to see them again in January! :)

 Country Springs Hotel to watch election returns, but we left shortly after 

we realized our party was losing. :(
